When the school day ends, parents are often still at work or otherwise busy! That is why we offer an after school Daycare / Day Boarding Program. It is like 2nd home for children where they have fun, learn and play. Daycare children are engaged in many different enrichment activities like yoga, dance, story telling, art & craft and many more.
While choosing daycare may be a heart-pounding option for many parents, there is clear evidence children will benefit over the long term. A quality daycare center where children are supported, engaged, encouraged and exposed to a positive attitude can help kids set the groundwork for later intellectual strides as kids learn to problem-solve and interact positively with other kids and adults.
Daycare offers a great opportunity for your kids to socialize at a young age, and in turn, it can help them learn communication skills as well along with the group of similar aged children. As a regular practice we encourage our students to communicate and speak in our personality development area to enhance communication skills.
Daycare children are more willing to try different foods in company of others when they sit and eat together. They tend to develop taste for healthier foods like green vegetables that they might not like other wise. At Junior DPS, we follow a proper schedule and meal plan comprising of different verity of foods prepared freshly in our clean and fully equipped kitchen. We encourage them to try different things and eat healthy.
We have a schedule at daycare for all children that comprises of sleeping time, activities time and time for meals. The activities include homework assistance, story telling, english speaking, songs, dance & music, exercise, yoga and art & craft. These fun tasks are essential to their intellectual growth and development. The scheduled activities are also satisfying for parents, who have less worry that their child’s behavior will be erratic at the end of the day due to a lack of structured times for eating, playing and napping.
An extensive study by the U.S. National Institutes of Health found that young children had higher cognitive and academic achievement scores as teens if they spent time in high-quality daycare as young children. The study defined “high-quality” daycare as facilities that provide extensive interaction with care providers, support, and cognitive-boosting activities.
Stay-at-home parents value the regular play dates they arrange with families and neighbours with kids of a similar age. Daycare interaction is an extension of this phenomenon, where kids get to spend time around one another in a supervised, structured and safe environment. Kids learn how to problem-solve, share and otherwise play and learn well together, while their minds are still growing and personalities still emerging.
